Statler Family Mailing List Information

** To subscribe to the Statler Family Mailing List, send an e-mail note to either STATLER-L-request@rootsweb.com or STATLER-D-request@rootsweb.com (for the digest version) with only the word subscribe in the body of the note.

You will receive a confirmation email to let you know that you have subscribed successfully.  It will contain information on how to send messages, unsubscribe, etc.  Please keep this note for future reference!

After you have signed up to be on the mailing list, send mail to the list by sending an e-mail note to:
STATLER@rootsweb.com (Mail will be automatically sent to the digest version as well.)

** To unsubscribe from the Statler Family Mailing List, send an e-mail note to either STATLER-L-request@rootsweb.com or STATLER-D-request@rootsweb.com (for the digest version) with only the word unsubscribe in the body of the note.

** If you wish to switch mail modes (go from mail mode to digest mode for example), you must unsubscribe to the one you are currently on and then subscribe to the one you want.

Currently, the list is unmoderated, so all messages sent to the list will be mailed out.  If it becomes a problem where a lot of unwanted messages (such as advertisements, spam notes, notes with profanity, etc) are being sent out, the list will be forced to become moderated.  This means that the webmaster (me... ha!) will have to review each message before it is sent out to the mailing list.  This takes time and will cause a delay in your message getting out to the list.
